  • Video: 6 Women Slip On Top Of Bihar Waterfall, Saved Just Before Reaching Edge

Six women had a miraculous escape after they slipped into the sudden gush of water at the Languriya hill waterfall in Bihar’s Gaya district. The video of the incident that took place on Sunday was captured on camera and has since gone viral on social media, serving as a stark reminder of the dangers near water bodies.

The nearly two-minute clip shows the six women stranded in the middle of the waterfall as water gushed around them. Initially, one woman was saved by crossing a rock. Trying to do the same, three women attempted to cross a rock but were swept into the water. They were, however, pulled up by the villagers – while they were just a few meters away from what looked like a big drop. In the meantime, the fifth woman was rescued from the other side of the waterfall.

  • Yash Dayal “Took Me On A Trip To Ooty…”: Fresh Allegations By Woman Against RCB Star

Fresh allegations have been pointed towards Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCHighlights Missing B) pacer Yash Dayal. A woman from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh had recently accused the 27-year-old of exploitation under the promise of marriage, and has now put further accusations at the cricketer. The woman, who earlier accused Dayal of emotional, mental and physical exploitation, has now stated that he had multiple affairs during their four-and-a-half years together, and accused him of using money, fame and power to cover-up the case. The woman also revealed that she has been in touch with another women who has also claimed to have been cheated on by Dayal.

“I stayed at Yash Dayal’s house for 15 days. He even took me on a trip to Ooty. I have been at his home many times, and have spent time with his family. Yash Dayal and his family kept raising hopes by giving assurance of marriage,” the woman from Ghaziabad alleged, in a report by Dainik Bhaskar.

“Yash Dayal has made attempts to manipulate the case with money, but I have full faith in the law. The police have said that Yash Dayal has been sent a notice,” said the woman, accusing the pacer of covering up the case using power, fame and money.

The woman has stated that her doubts about Dayal having affairs with other women were confirmed when she was reached out to by another woman on April 17, 2025, who had reportedly also provided proof of Dayal cheating and speaking to multiple other women.

The Ghaziabad-based woman also stated that she is aware of Dayal having affairs with at least three other women.

“I could have walked away, but how would I know he was cheating? He never showed it. I left it to God, but when his family started speaking badly about me, I decided to take legal steps,” the woman said, as per the report.

“I had left him to God’s mercy, but after that Yash Dayal and his family spoke very badly. There is a thing called self-respect in love, which girls lose.

“I am also fighting for the little girl with whom Yash Dayal did wrong. Yash Dayal is hiding, let him stay hidden. This is what his family and he have done,” she added.

When it comes to cricket, Dayal won the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 title with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), whilst he was also part of the India Test team in 2024.

  • Amid Shefali Jariwala Death, Doctor Explains Risks Of Steroids, Hormonal Therapies

The death of ‘Kaanta Laga’ fame Shefali Jariwala, who reportedly died due to a cardiac arrest last week, has once again put a spotlight on the rising cases of heart attacks in adults in India. The disturbing increase of cardiovascular diseases in even those people who keep themselves seemingly fit, is a cause of concern – and triggers a question: are fitness therapies and workouts enough?

Dr Dhirendra Singhania, Principal Consultant of Interventional Cardiology at Yashoda Super Speciality Hospitals in Kaushambi, spoke exclusively to NDTV on the issue, saying the major causes of risk in heart attacks are: steroids, lack of sleep, and hormonal therapies (especially for women).

“Everyone, whether a celebrity or a common man, if they are not following the rules of the body, they will have problems. In celebrities, they all try to maintain their body for fit appearances. Many times, we don’t know what they do to achieve that. Lack of sleep has been known as a cardiac risk factor – many celebrities are awake for almost the whole night at times,” he said.

Dr Singhania added, “Steroids, drug overdoses, and hormonal therapies for women, such as hormone replacement therapy (HRT for menopause) and oral contraceptives, can contribute to heart attack risk.”

Additionally, the cardiologist said stress and social media addiction contribute to increased blood pressure and cortisol levels – which eventually lead to cardiovascular diseases.

  • Harvard Violated Civil Rights of Jewish, Israeli Students, Trump Officials Say

The Trump administration said a US investigation found that Harvard University violated civil rights law in its treatment of Jewish and Israeli students, further endangering federal funding for the school.

“Harvard has been in some cases deliberately indifferent, and in others has been a willful participant in antisemitic harassment of Jewish students, faculty, and staff,” the government said in a letter Monday to the university’s president, Alan Garber. “Failure to institute adequate changes immediately will result in the loss of all federal financial resources.”

The finding ramps up pressure on the oldest and richest US university less than two weeks after President Donald Trump said he was nearing a deal with the school following months of attacking it. His administration has scrapped more than $2.6 billion in federal research funding for Harvard, threatened the school’s tax-exempt status and sought to prevent it from enrolling foreign students.

Harvard Dragged Deeper Into Trump’s ‘America First’ Visa Fight

In the letter to Harvard, officials including Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon didn’t specify the additional financial penalties the administration is considering. But the government has other levers it can pull, including Pell Grants for low-income students and access to the federal student-loan program, which at Harvard is used mostly by graduate students.

Harvard said it strongly disagreed with the government’s findings. The school said it “has made significant strides to combat bigotry, hate and bias” and remains committed to ensuring that Jewish and Israeli students can thrive on campus
